REFORESTATION
Reforestation projects reduce carbon emissions over time by sequestering CO2 from the air and storing in the trunks, branches, leaves and roots of the trees as well as the forest floor. It’s estimated that forests are capable of providing 23% of the climate mitigation needed before 2030.
